2. Consent is optional

Receiving marketing communications is not required for registration or use of Simulo. The user may give consent through a separate optional checkbox. Acceptance of the Terms and Privacy Notice is mandatory for registration; marketing consent is not.

3. Content of communications

With consent, Simulo may occasionally send business and professional messages about new features, HR and team-fit content, product tips, offers or occasional promotions.

4. Data and legal basis

Marketing processing may use company name, contact e-mail, consent status, timestamp and document version. The legal basis is voluntary consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a).

5. Withdrawal and retention

Consent may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing. Marketing data is retained until withdrawal and for as long as necessary to prove consent.

6. Google Analytics and marketing measurement

Google Analytics measurement is built into the Simulo web interface. It may help understand how visitors use the site and which campaigns or content perform better. Google’s own privacy terms may also apply.
